History and Stitchery, Needlework Treasures of Victoria
Nicola has lived most of her life in Melbourne where she trained and worked as a nurse and raised her 4 children. From 2003 to 2012 she was privileged to live in New York where she attended Fordham University doing a Liberal Arts course majoring in History of Art with a minor in Politics. She also was able to extend her passion for genealogy and family history. On her return to Melbourne, she joined the Needlework Tool Collectors where she has delighted in sharing and learning so much. Tasmania is the place of her birth and where she still has family living. Memories of her father's stories and her family history have created a fascination with the island's rich heritage. Having published her booklet on Tasmania's History and Stitchery in 2017, she has now turned to the mainland states, starting with Victoria.
